FOUNDER

Founded in 2019 by Emmanuel Lambelin,  Purpose Catering accumulates over 30 years experience in hospitality together with french style flair to create a catering company with heart and soul.The roots of Purpose Catering come from a provincial farm on the outskirts of Lille. Here Emmanuel was raised with traditional country French cooking. In 1990 Emmanuel received his masters degree in hotel management and spend the next 10 years working on cruise ships, Michelin starred restaurants and even as a Butler to the Queen    With the help of his brother, Emmanuel set about to create acclaimed restaurant “Chez Manny” in 2002 a modern French bistro in the heart of Battersea.   After many years of service, Chez Manny shut its doors as Emmanuel Lambelin began to focus his talents to work internationally as a butler and catering specialist ensuring that his positive ethos around hospitality and service was implemented in each engagement.

MARCELLIN MARC

HEAD CHEF

Marcellin grew up in a farm near Chateauroux in the Loire valley with his grandmother. He has been surrounded by freshly cooked homegrown food from a very young age, selling poultry and produce from the farm to the “marché des villages ‘ and going fishing in summer and hunting in winter.
He went to hospitality school and then on to work in the south of france in Aix en Provence for 5 years at the Clos de la violette (2 Michelin stars)
His passion, enthusiasm and dedication made him spent another 5 years at 3 different restaurants of Pierre Gagnaire St Etienne , hotel Balzac in Paris both 3 Michelin stars and London. He then moved to London to the Clos Maggiore in Covent Garden as chef patron for 15 years, cooking provencal and Mediterranean dishes.
He is inspired by fresh herbs , olive oil and the scent of Provence.
